Carlisle is a rural village in Flamborough, technically the City of Hamilton, with horse farms, acreages and a village core on Centre Road, and it is the heart of our Serenity outdoor sauna business.
Carlisle properties have room to put a sauna where it belongs: down by the pond, at the edge of the paddock or on a deck that looks out over the fields. The Serenity Sauna at $17,495 in knotty cedar with a wood-burning heater is the usual choice because it needs no hydro at that distance, and a Chill Tub Pro beside it completes the setup. Hot tub buyers here go big, a J-495 or J-485 on a deck off the kitchen, because the extended family arrives on weekends and the truck can drive straight to the spot.
Everything in Carlisle runs on a well and a septic system. Flamborough well water is hard and often carries iron, so we fill through a pre-filter and set up water care accordingly, and we plan drain-downs so they do not hit the septic bed all at once. Winters are colder and windier than Burlington's with open fields to the west, so a sturdy cover and a windbreak matter. Carlisle follows Hamilton's permit and setback rules for accessory buildings and hot tubs, so check with the city rather than with Burlington.
